Harvest Farms

Back in September, Troy went antelope hunting for a few days. While he was gone the kids and I went with some friends down to Harvest Farms. We went last year too and the kids love it. Some of their favorites this year were; the barrel/train ride, the hay ride, pumpkin smash, corn box, roping bulls and the pig races. I love going because it is only a 20 minute drive and hours of fun for the kids. I thought it was a little expensive but then learned on our hay ride that the farm is a recovery place for people who are trying to get over addictions. They told us a lot of the history of the farm and then I didn't feel so bad about how much it cost, it was for a good cause. We had a great time and I definitely think it is going to be one of our fall traditions.

All the kids look so cute! Can't believe how much bigger Emree looks! What a fun day that was. What residential program was it for addicts??? I thought I knew them all in the state. I'll have to talk to you about it later!
