Updates Coming
After a very long absence and many things happening in our family, I have finally decided to start blogging again. I have a list of things I want to write about and noticed I still have SIX events from 2010 that I never documented!! I don't know if those will ever get done but I will try and catch up for this year first. Here's to hoping I actually get this done....

Quick Trip
Grandma and Grandpa Egnew stopped by for a quick trip on their way to South Dakota for Hannah's graduation. (I cannot believe she is old enough to be graduating from high school)!! Their first stop they got into town about 12:30am and Sebastien was upset because he didn't think he was going to see them. They were good sports about having breakfast here and playing with the boys, delaying their 10 hour drive to Kari's.
Emmers and Grandpa hanging out after breakfast.
Grandma gave this puzzle to Sebastien for Christmas. It is a 100 piece puzzle and I first thought Grandma was a little silly for giving such a BIG puzzle to my 3 year old. However, he LOVES it and does it all by himself. Good thinking Grandma!
A few days later they stopped again, this time bringing Hannah and Ashley with them. I just love those girls! I remember when they were babies and now they are playing with my babies.
Hannah was sitting on the floor and Manti scooted his little bum back and plopped right in Hannah's lap. He loved her!

8 Months
Emree is really becoming quite a busy, curious little girl. She is growing up way too fast and it makes me sad to think that she is going to be walking in a matter of months. I honestly don't know if I am ready for that. When ever the kids and I are out running errands or walking, people always give me the "oh my, you have your hands full" comment. If they think that now, what will they think when Emree is walking/running all around. I think my kids are pretty easy right now. I feel like I am in control. Now that Emree is crawling, I am slowly realizing that pretty soon I am going to be out numbered big time.
At 8 months this is what Emree was up to:
*Gets all around the house
*EATS EVERYTHING she can find.
*Plays with the magnets on the fridge.
*Decided to start waking up every 2-3 hours at night again. I am NOT liking this.
*Got two teeth on top. Not the two front, but one front and one K9. Weird?
*Loves to laugh
*Plays with her Baby Einstein piano.
*Nods her head "yes"
*WILL NOT TAKE A BOTTLE!!
*Loves to look at other babies.
*Says mama. (This makes me happy).
*Trip to South Dakota to meet Aunt Kari and cousins. (More to come about this later).
*Weighed 14 pounds 5 ounces
*25 1/8 inches
*Pulls baby wipes out of the container one at a time, as fast as she can.
*Started crawling while we were in South Dakota.
My little "Hurley" girl! I saw this shirt at TJ MAXX and couldn't pass it up. It is definitely one of my favorites. Plus, she is just so darn cute in it.
This is what she does when you take something away from her. Throwing fits already....isn't she too young for that?? (It is pretty cute though, for now anyway).
So happy! I can't remember what the boys were doing to make her laugh but she sure is loving it.
The smile that just makes you want to smile.

Easter
We had such a fun Easter. Aunt Wendi came to visit for a week and was able to be here with us. The boys were very excited for the Easter Bunny to come. They couldn't wait to hunt for eggs, get candy and anything else the E.B. brought. This was actually the first year we have dyed eggs with the boys. They thought it was fun for the first five minutes but quickly lost interest when it took so long for the eggs to change colors.
Sebastien thought the color cups were more exciting than the colored eggs.
At this point, Manti wasn't sure what to think.
Blue was their favorite for the day.
Poor Emree had to sit in her high chair while the rest of us colored the eggs. A few snacks here and there kept her happy.
The first egg! They are both pretty proud.
The Easter Bunny has a thing about leaving a trail of eggs from the boys room, down the stairs and into the living room. Manti was the first one up and immediately went down stairs. When I went down in the morning he looked and me like this.....
...And said "Some body made THIS MESS"
They both had so much fun opening up each and every egg looking for candy, toys and money.
The trail of eggs!
The Easter Bunny ROCKS!! This was the best day ever...until his birthday. :)
Manti loved the sports eggs. (Since then, he has had a haircut)
We had a nice dinner with Aunt Wendi and our friend Sam. It was great being able to teach the boys about the Savior and the real reason for Easter. Sebastien loves learning about Jesus and since Manti likes whatever Sebastien likes, it was perfect!

Magnets
Quick question.....what does this look like to you??
To me: clutter on the fridge, more toys for me to clean up and one more thing for the boys to fight over.
But to a curious three year old who loves primary and learning about the church, this is a family of magnets, gathering for family prayer!
I love how imaginative my little boys are becoming. They are so incredibly sweet!
4th Birthday
Sebastien has turned FOUR! Sad, but true. I just love this little man. He is so smart, a great big brother and lots of help for mom. He is very curious about new things and loves to learn. I love Sunday's because he loves primary and most of all his sunbeam teacher. Every Sunday after church he will tell me what Sister C talked about. He loves other kids and plays really well with just about anybody. He is NOT shy and will talk to anyone that makes eye contact with him. He definitely gets that from his dad.
This year for his birthday we didn't plan much. He really wants to have a party when we visit his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. That was the plan. I wanted to at least have a cake for him on his birthday and what he wanted was Spiderman. I was feeling cheap and didn't want to pay for a cake so I decided to make it myself. This turned into quite the project. We ended up calling some of his friends Friday night to come over Saturday! Short notice, I know. We have great friends here who made his day extra special.
He was so excited about his birthday he told EVERYONE in the donut shop.
Manti loved the excuse to have a donut. Anything with frosting and sprinkles is heaven for Manti.
Top layer almost gone and he was done.
Sebastien ate about half of his then stole daddy's when he wasn't looking.
The birthday cake! It has many imperfections but the birthday boy (and other kids) loved it so I was happy.
He was so excited when it was all finished. He had to have a picture with spiderman.
Manti was feeling a little left out so he wanted to take a picture too.

We started the day with our usual birthday donuts!
Winter is Over
Now that winter is over I thought I would post some pictures of the kids playing in the snow. We weren't out in the snow too much this year. Partly because there wasn't a ton of snow and then when there was, it was too cold to have the kids out there. Manti still did not love it and Sebastien couldn't get enough of it. When Sebastien would say his prayers he would always say, "please let there be lots of snow tomorrow so I can play in it." He has finally moved on from praying for snow. I think he, like everyone else around here, is ready for some warm weather to play outside.
He thought it was pretty cool that it had snowed on the slide.
