Curious Sebastien
Sebastien has become very curious about his body. He loves to point things out-his eyes, elbow, ears etc. A few weeks ago I got him out of the bath, he noticed his nipples and asked "Mommy, what's these?" I told him it is his chest and we moved on. He now calls them his "imples". Last night he was eating his dinner and in the process took his shirt off. I glanced at him and just started laughing. Troy came in the room to see what was going on and asked "Sebastien, what are you doing?" He looked up at us and said "I holding these." He had a tight grip on his chest and thought it was the funniest thing! Oh, BOY it is starting already.

What do you do when it snows??
Build a fort/tent, take the cushions off the couch and JUMP!
One of Sebastien's favorite things to do. Good thing we have soft cushions.
Manti loves to climb up and sit on the couch. He can only do it himself when Sebastien takes all the cushions off.

First 09 Winter Snow
I never thought I would say that I liked the snow but yesterday when we woke up to snow covering the yard, I thought it was so pretty. Last year Sebastien loved to put on his snow clothes, boots, gloves and hats. When he saw the snow in the morning he was ecstatic. He just wanted to get out there and play, I couldn't tell him NO! After breakfast we bundled up and headed out to play, I figured we better before the awful winter winds kick in. Manti is still trying to figure out if he likes it but Troy and Sebastien had a blast.
Troy and Sebastien right before they started throwing snowballs at me.
Manti looks so dang cute! I am not a fan of the jacket he is wearing but I bought it because I knew it would make his daddy proud. :-)
Sebastien was so busy I could not get him to hold still for 30 seconds to take his picture. This is as good as it gets. He loves his new snow boots, they light up at the bottom when he walks.
I adore this picture. Troy and his boys doing "boy" things together. Pardon the blurs, it was still snowing when we were outside.
A close up of my BABY! I love how his blue eyes sparkle. He was not too happy at this point (if you could not tell). He had fallen down and got his pants wet, poor guy just wanted to go inside where it was warm.
Although I am not a huge fan of the Wyoming winters, I can't help being excited. I love seeing the boys faces light up when they look out the window and see the fluffy white stuff on the ground. I am a little nervous for the winter, if it is only the beginning of October and we are having this much snow, what does that mean for the rest of the winter months?
Ganma & Ganpa Egnew
Ganma & Ganpa Egnew just came and visited for a few days and we had so much fun. The visit was short but yet we seemed so busy. We took them to see the trains, Ganma helped me make a quilt, Ganpa showed Sebastien how to use his new tool set, made yummy food, played baseball in the backyard and spent lots of time just chatting. For the next few days after they left, Sebastien kept asking where they were. If there was a noise upstairs Sebastien would run to the stairs and yell for Ganpa. Being away from home, I am always afraid they won't remember their grandparents and it breaks my heart. It made me so happy to see them walk right up to them and give them hugs and kisses.
Ganpa showing Sebastien how to play "tools". (This is what Sebastien called it.) The reason Sebastien learned how to use a screwdriver (as told in my previous post). Thanks a lot Ganpa! :)

This Weeks Stories
We will start with Monday.....
I had a dentist appointment and left the boys downstairs to play while I showered. Normally they are perfectly fine and just play with toys or watch cartoons so I didn't worry about them. When I got dressed and came downstairs both boys were standing at the gate waiting for me to see what they had done. Sebastien said, "Mommy, I sprayed!" Since we have been doing more with potty training, I assumed he meant that he had had an accident. I asked him, "Did you pee in your underwear?" He replied with "No, I sprayed in the kitchen." I walked into the kitchen and found an INCH of WATER covering the floor. The little stinker and climbed up on a chair, turned the water on and sprayed the refrigerator, microwave and stove! I have no idea how long he had the water on but based on the amount I had to clean up I would guess the WHOLE time I was in the shower and getting dressed. At least he told me exactly what he did when I first came downstairs.
The next couple days were not bad. It was too cold to play outside so we spent a lot of time playing with blocks, tools, trains, cars etc....
That brings us to Thursday...
Troy and I were looking up some stuff on the computer and I realized it had been a while since Sebastien came in the room. I heard some noises in the kitchen and got a little worried. When I walked in there I saw him with a drawer open and a screwdriver. I thought it was so cute and told Troy to go look. When Troy went in the kitchen to see what he was up to he took a closer look and noticed one screw was missing and the second one was half way out. He looked at Sebastien and asked "Sebastien, where is the screw that goes right here?" Sebastien said "In my pocket."
Now for Friday...
The boys are back in the same room together and wake each other up every morning. I usually lay in bed listening to them talk and play but this morning as I laid under the blanket I heard footsteps. Then the blanket slowly moved from my face and I heard the cutest voice whisper, "Mommy, Manti waking, get dressed."
We almost made it through Saturday without any major messes until 5 minutes before bedtime. I wasn't devoting 100% of my attention to the boys and what do you know.....they dumped baby powder all over the floor!!
With all that happened this week, I didn't get any PICTURES! I am so bummed, at the same time, I wasn't really thinking "pictures" when everything was going on.

Harvest Farms
Harvest Farms is about 30 minutes south of Cheyenne. We have seen signs for it many times driving down to Denver and finally decided to check it out. They have a lot of fall activities going on right now, for ALL ages. There was A LOT to do which means A LOT of pictures. I couldn't get everyone to pay attention at the same time so my only option was to start popping pictures. We had a great time and hope to go back again.
Sebastien on the other hand had no problem taking a power nap.
Everyone (except Manti and I) on the hayride around the farm.
Here is Sebastien cheering at the pig races. He kept yelling "Go pigs, go!"
Isn't he just the best big brother? He actually wanted to pull Manti around. Daddy lucked out on wagon duty for a minute.
I think this was one of the family favorites, a train ride in cow barrels, pulled by a quad. Manti and I were in the back and he was smiling and laughing the whole time.
This isn't the best picture. Manti would not cooperate at all, at least Troy and Sebastien look good.
